ABOUT
Theo Asano is a wood-firing studio potter on the North Fork of Long Island. He apprenticed with Hayne Bayless at Sideways Studio (2014–2016) and was a resident at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Maine (2017–2018). His work has been exhibited at the Society for Contemporary Craft and is in the permanent collection of the Mashiko Museum in Japan. The studio fires twice a year — once in April, once in October — and the work is sold through online kiln-opening sales.
