Twelve weeks of three-day powerbuilding work — squat, bench, deadlift, plus accessory hypertrophy. For lifters at intermediate or above.
STRONGMAN OFF-SEASON
Sixteen weeks of strongman-specific off-season work. Yoke, log, stones, sandbag.
BARBELL FOR BEGINNERS
Eight weeks to learn the squat, bench, deadlift, and overhead press from zero. With video form checks.
DEADLIFT 600
A focused 16-week block to add 50–100 lbs to your deadlift. For lifters with 405+ already.
STRENGTH FIRST. AESTHETICS FOLLOW.
I program in the Westside-conjugate / RTS-percentage hybrid lineage. Every athlete I work with has a max-effort day, a dynamic-effort day, and two repetition days a week. Hypertrophy is built into the accessory work, not the main lifts. RPE-driven autoregulation is non-negotiable. If you're more interested in how a program looks on Instagram than how it makes you feel under a heavy bar, I'm not your coach.
Marcus Holland is a strength coach with fourteen years of training and ten years of coaching. He competed in powerlifting at the national level (best total: 1845 @ 220) and now coaches lifters from beginners through national-meet competitors. Certifications: USAPL Coach, RTS Coach Certification (Mike Tuchscherer lineage), Westside Barbell Coach Certification. Based at Brooklyn Strength Co. in Gowanus.
